T-Pain, born Faheem Najm on June 30, 1985 in Tallahasee, FL, is an extremely successful and popular hip-hop / R&B singer and producer. As a result of his success and popularity, T-Pain ringtones are among the most popular in the market.

T-Pain began making music at age 10, in a studio he created in his bedroom, with a drum machine and keyboard. Before he embarked on a solo career, T-Pain was a member of the Tallahasee hip hop ensemble Nappy Headz. Their local hits provided T-Pain with some momentum to begin a solo career. T-Pain founded his own record label in 2002 and received some attention for his song ‘Fucked Up’ – which was a remix of Akon’s ‘Locked Up’. After Akon heard the song, he signed T-Pain to his own record label – Konvict Records. Later on, T-Pain released his first solo CD – Rappa Ternt Sanga – in 2005 on Konvict Records. His first mainstream hit was ‘I’m N Luv (Wit A Stripper)’.
