Connecticut Governor Declares Today 'Bruce Springsteen Day'

Get your bandana out and roll your sleeves up. Inventor of the Jersey Shore sound, Bruce Springsteen officially has his own day in Connecticut. Governor Jodi Rell declared today, Tuesday, October 2, "Bruce Springsteen Day" in the state.

Rell honored Bruce in part because he and the E Street Band play tonight at the Hartford Civic Center to celebrate the release of Magic, which is out today, not that anyone other than the band was particularly compelled to hear more from the album after its debut single.
