The Reggae-influenced trio Bedouin Soundclash met while at school in Kingston. Kingston, Ontario might seem like the wrong Kingston to come up playing reggae in, but the band was able to score some buzz in Canada. They self-released their debut, Root Fire in 2002. Shortly thereafter, the band was taken under the wing of Bad Brains legend Darryl Jenifer who produced their sophomore release. A third album is due in 2007.
