Most people in jail seek out some clean underwear, an occasional visit from friends and family, and an escape path from anal rapists.



James Sabatino, however, has bigger aspirations. The currently-incarcerated Sabatino, a former consultant for Diddy's Bad Boy Records, has filed a lawsuit against Diddy. Sabatino claims that he recorded 17 minutes of vocals and 90 minutes of video footage with Notorious B.I.G. in 1994. After Biggie's death in 1997, Diddy purchased the recordings from Sabatino for $200,000. However, according to the lawsuit, Diddy only paid $25,000 of that.

So this lawsuit should be for around $175,000, right?

Ok, this one is kind of perplexing. Beanie Sigel is apparently trying out to play the role of Biggie Smalls in an upcoming movie about Big's life. Isn't this a bit like Isaac Brock playing Kurt Cobain in a biopic about Kurt's life?

Well, at the very least, we know Beanie has the bragging part down. If it seems weird, Beanie kind of agrees.

It looks like the LAPD wasn't as involved in the Notorious BIG's death as originally thought. Imagine that, more confusion in the Notorious BIG murder case.

An inmate now claims he lied when he said that two former cops were involved in BIG's 1997 murder. Not a good way to get out on parole dude. This is still probably a better look for Biggie than whatever Diddy's next move is going to be.

Anyone resembling Notorious B.I.G. can submit an audition tape, regardless of whether they have acting experience.

This isn't a list concerned with who was the best or the greatest or who has the most swagger or who had a clothing line first. This is simply a list of the most innovative MCs in hip hop history. The dudes before the dudes.
