Anthrax Needs a Singer and Record Deal
The band has been working on a new album, which the three current members of the band -- Scott Ian, Charlie Benante, and Frank Bello -- say is the band's "most metal record." The only problem? They don't have a singer. They came close to taking on Slipknot/Stone Sour's Corey Taylor as the vocalist, after he begged them to "let him figure it out." They balked initially because he's in two full-time bands, but gave in because he was so passionate about the position. But as it turns out, he just couldn't do it. So where does this leave Anthrax?
Scott Ian of Anthrax Has an Opinion on Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance
His issues with My Chemical Romance? "Too poppy." His love for Fall Out Boy? He's seen them live and "they put on a great show." Now, I like both bands, and I think both do a great show -- but certainly we're all in agreement that Fall Out Boy is 10,000 times more pop than My Chemical Romance, no?
