The Game Pleads Not Guilty to Felony Charges
West Coast rapper, The Game pleaded not guilty to three felony charges on Tuesday, September 25. The Game was accused of making criminal threats, possessing a firearm in a school zone and exhibiting a firearm in the presence of an officer ... all during a pick-up basketball game. Dude got all bowling alley-Walter Sobchak-style pulling his piece out on the court (read: The Big Lebowski).

The alleged victim testified September 4 and also told the court that The Game punched him ... during the game. I bet somebody's wishing they'd used a different MC name right about now.

The Game Will Avoid Jail If He Avoids Trouble

Rapper The Game will be able to avoid jail as long as he can avoid trouble for six months too. In other words he'll probably be in jail within the next six months.

The Game, who collabo'd with Ja Rule recently, is charged with impersonating a police officer but if he's on his best behavior and doesn't get in trouble for half a year, the charges will be dismissed.

He was nabbed in November of 2006 after a yellow cab was pulled over for running red lights. The driver later told police that The Game told him he was a police officer and instructed him to run the lights. It's like The Game watched that new Chamillionaire video one too many times and just didn't realize Cham was acting.
