If You Can't Have 95 People At Your Thanksgiving Party, What's The Point?

T.I. has dropped his request to host Thanksgiving dinner. The rapper is under house arrest and needs to get his every move approved by a judge, even something as simple as having a few of his close friends over for dinner.

Oh by the way, when I say "a few," I mean 95. I've heard people in the South have a lot of cousins, but that's ridiculous. T.I. allegedly dropped his request because he was sick of complying with the court's orders, which included background checks for each of the 95 visitors.

You know what happened; he definitely invited someone with a criminal record and didn't know there were going to be background checks. It's like when you go to the bar and two guys in your group have terrible fake IDs, and it turns out that's the one night when the bar decides to be strict with its carding policy. Obviously T.I. wasn't smart enough to use the old "background papers pass-back trick." He'll just have to spend Thanksgiving alone, with his TV and his 26 guns.

Machine Guns & Turducken

T.I.'s life must suck pretty bad right now. Not only is he facing the possibility of ten years in prison for his trip to the Costco Gun Department, but he also needs his every move to be approved by a judge.

T.I. filed a court motion yesterday asking for permission to host Thanksgiving dinner at his house. The rapper is on house arrest and can't have people over, either.

From AllHipHop:

The rapper also submitted a list of proposed visitors for the judge to approve, who must all undergo criminal background checks.

T.I. is also forbidden from consuming alcohol even if the motion is granted. He must also pay for additional security guards to police the Thanksgiving Day celebration.

He also has to get approval for the guys who clean his house and pool. God, that sounds horrible. I would never want to live like that. I better make sure to never purchase 26 guns and silencers when I'm on probation.

Hopefully the judge will grant T.I.'s wish. Until he's convicted, he at least deserves the right to eat Thanksgiving dinner with his family. Also, I heard he already bought a dozen 3-foot-long semi-automatic turkey knives with silencers to prepare for the feast. It would be a shame if those went to waste.

recently. As Miss Info pointed out, Tip might as well be protecting a small
village, not just his family. Or maybe he's just trying to hurt some folks.

Anyway, Federal prosecutors displayed the seized hardware at
a press conference in the ATL, where one government prosecutor dished a few words
to the wise. He said the last place "a machine gun or silencer should be are in
the hands of a convicted felon, who's not legally allowed to possess any type
of firearm." But duuuuuude, it looks cool in the videos!

And now, a rundown of Tip's guns:

Next time you're kickin' it in the ATL and you see T.I.'s crew headed your way, I strongly suggest you turn your head and act like you didn't see them.

In fact, I insist. Tip's bodyguard later admitted to purchasing nine guns for T.I. (including past purchases) and about 17 for other people in the rapper's posse. That amounts to about 26 guns in case you don't have a calculator handy. Twenty-six guns. In a related story, T.I. now has his own military. Oh, by the way, the 27-year-old rapper is a convicted felon.
