Snoop totally saw this one coming, that's probably why he skipped his last court date. You carry an illegal weapon around and all of a sudden some dude in a robe makes you pick up some trash or do some park maintenance. Errr, what happened to the punishment fitting the crime? Although he claimed the alleged illegal weapon was a prop, he finally pleaded guilty. One thing is certain though, his community service tools will definitely not be props. They will be real and Snoop will use them.

The rapper will "do everything from raking leaves to painting benches." Can you imagine? One day you're just chillin' in the park and when you look up, all the sudden...

In a real twist, Snoop has brought a case AGAINST another party (Priority Records) and has ended his streak of having cases brought against him.

There was an initial bump in the road, though, when the judge didn't know who was stepping into her courtroom.

Snoop Pleads Guilty in Dangerous Weapons Case

Snoop D-o-double-g failed to show up to court on September 18th, but he showed up yesterday and pleaded guilty to a dangerous weapons charge from 2006.

On that fateful day in September of '06, Snoop showed up to the John Wayne Airport in Orange County with a collapsible baton in a computer bag. Smart thinking -- they don't check computer bags at airports these days....

Anyhow, Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr. was sentenced to 160 hours of community service, three years probation, and a $10,000 charitable donation. It's alright, he's got the scratch.
