Rock 'n' Roll Hoax: Paul Is Dead
Thirty eight years ago today, Russ Gibb first began spreading the urban legend that Paul McCartney was dead. Somehow, more and more hokey "evidence" was found on album covers, songs played backwards and cryptic references. Overall the entire hoax was pretty silly, but it definitely produced some funny parodies and a nice jab from Mr. John Lennon directed at Paul.

I thought this ended back in July? Despite the fact that The San Francisco Chronicle reported Paul McCartney and Heather Mills had settled their divorce, the two met in court earlier today in London to discuss.

The former Beatle has joined NowPlayIt.com where aspiring musicians can download tutorials taught by famous musicians. Other artists on the site include the Blur fellows and KT Tunstall.
Paul McCartney Rumored to Be Writing 'Shrek 4' Soundtrack

The Beatle says that he wants to do it because his daughter, Beatrice, loves the movies. Her mother also loves the idea because it will bring more money that she can attempt to get her hands on.

 

Paul, who claims to do a great impression of Shrek, may even land a speaking role in the film. No doubt, his Liverpudlian accent will be an asset.

 

McCartney has already been involved in Shrek (sort of) as his song "Live and Let Die" was used in the third installment.
