Video: Lil Wayne - 'Gossip (Live at BET HIp Hop Awards)'
Lil Wayne came out all dramatic and bad-ass a few nights ago at the BET Hip Hop awards to debut his new track, "Gossip," and he makes it clear that lyrical ridiculousness will continue on into 2008. Maybe even (but probably not) from prison. This is more of the same from Wayne, hard hitting and extended to let him go and go and go some more. Also, I believe I hear a Dianna Ross sample?
Lil Wayne Arrest Was Just a Paperwork Mix-Up

Surprise, surprise, it looks like Lil Wayne's drug-related imprisonment was nothing more than "a little mix-up." Funny, seems like celebrities always find their way into these little mix-ups.

News

Wayne's lawyer, Stacey Richman, blamed the incident on his previous lawyer, who had apparently told the New Orleans-based rapper that the charges were dismissed. Somehow I feel like this means there wasn't a follow-up call. You'd think if you had Atlanta cops on your tail you'd make damn sure to resolve whatever issues remained, especially after that DJ Drama incident.

Lil Wayne Arrested for Drug Possession
I guess Lil Wayne's constant reminders that he loves drugs have finally paid off, but probably not how he intended. Weezy was arrested Friday after a concert in Idaho and charged with drug possession after Georgia police accused him of possessing a controlled substance.
News

Wayne was not eligible for bail, due to the "nature of the charges" - whatever that means - but he's supposed to show up next week at BET's Hip Hop Awards. In the immediate future, I'm more concerned that Weezy might start tweaking if he's not let out of there soon. Somebody do something.

Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Ghostface, Cee-Lo on 'Boondocks'
Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Ghostface Killah and Cee-Lo Green will all voice characters in the upcoming season of "The Boondocks," the animated series on The Cartoon Network. It's like the summer's best remix with all those dudes involved.

Trampled Fan Sues Lil Wayne for Making it Rain
Who knew making it rain could cause such a stir? On the heels of Pacman Jones' strip club debacle back in February, Lil Wayne is being sued by a woman claiming she was trampled during a Lil Wayne concert
