SNL is about to begin its 33rd season and they'll be kicking it correct with Kanye West joining host LeBron James in the first episode. Here's holding out for a Kanye vs. 50 Cent parody featuring Kenan Thompson in 50's spot. I bet it won't happen but I know it should.

After the first episode, SNL will bring on musical guests Spoon, Foo Fighters and Bon Jovi. In fact, Bon Jovi frontman Jon Bon Jovi will host the episode featuring the Foo Fighters' music. I wonder if they'll do any energy drink skits. That's my Jovi.

In a recent interview, Jon Bon Jovi lashed out at Oasis and Robbie Williams, claiming "they couldn't fill a bar," as well as Pete Doherty and David Beckham, dismissing them all as nobodies. I wonder if Jon Bon Jovi could find this new place I just heard about, England, on a map... I hear these people sell out stadiums over there.

This makes no sense on any level, aside from Gerard noting that there's a great amount of New Jersey pride in both bands. But what a melding of fans that will be! The band will be opening two of ten Bon Jovi shows, with logical country bands opening the rest.
