With today being Beatles memorial news day, another piece has come down the wire: Yoko Ono is spearheading the induction of an Image Peace Tower in Reykjavik, Iceland on October 9th -- Lennon's birthday.
The tower will project light out into the sky spelling "imagine peace" in 24 languages. It will shine from October 9th until December 8th every year. December 8th, 1980 was the day that Lennon was killed in New York City by Mark David Chapman.

This is something that we spoke about 40 years ago. Our dream is finally coming true.
