Let's just say that "Gently Weeps" is probably going to be the first single from their upcoming 8 Diagrams.
The song features a sample of “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” with Frusciante on lead guitar (originally Eric Clapton's part) and Dhani Harrison on acoustic. Of Harrison, the RZA told Rolling Stone: "He’s the biggest Wu-Tang fan in the world. He knew all the kung fu shit [we reference]! That’s deep! I told him I would be honored if he played his father’s song."
The song is about the downfalls of heroin addiction and features Meth and Ghostface. 8 Diagrams is due November 13th.
