Every morning, when I am driving to work, I see a lot of the same cars. I find this vaguely uncomfortable, to be honest, as I don't like that feeling of the same. But that's not the point. At some point on my ride in, I will see a car driven by a man I have dubbed the world's biggest tool. And he is. The dude dressed his car up like a reindeer, and drives around with antlers sticking out of each door, and a bright red nose on the front. I can't explain just how much this car annoys me. I mean, not only did the guy see this in a store and say, "that's definitely something I could use!," he opened his wallet and spent actual money on it, and then took time out of his days to attach this crap to his car. Is it just me?
Anyway...
Our Last Night posted a trailer for their new album, out this March:
This band is so freaking good, it's not even funny. And I will never get over how young the singer is. I can't wait for this album. I mean, I guess I can, so I'm not sure why I italicized that... it's not like I'm going to freeze myself so I can make time pass or anything, but... ah, whatever. You know what I mean.
A Day To Remember's For Those Who Have Heart will be getting the old re-release treatment on February 19th. It will have some re-recorded songs, one new song, their Kelly Clarkson cover, and a DVD with a live show on it. At least you get a lot of stuff, even if it does mean it's the second time you have to buy the album....
Cute is What We Aim For has a new Web site up, and it has some pictures of the band in the studio and all of that stuff. If I were a betting girl, which I'm not, I'd say they're going to blow up huge in 2008. It's pretty much written on the wall, and unless they screw up incredibly somehow, they're set to break out.
Finally, The Number Twelve Looks Like You has released the video for "Grandfather":
This band was pretty sick live when I saw them on Sounds of the Underground last year... so enjoy.
And that's enough out of me for now. Enjoy!
