According to a new AP story, Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's marriage will be officially over sometime this month. The couple has been married 14 years, but Houston filed for divorce in October because of "irreconcilable differences."
A California judge ruled that Houston will get custody of the couple's 14 year old daughter, in part because of Houston's testimony.
"He's unreliable," she testified. "If he says he's going to come, sometimes he does. Usually he doesn't."
It's sad when a 14 year relationship ends, but Houston and Brown deserve credit for making it this long. Remember, when they wed in 1992, it was a different time. Grunge music was popular, people were doing the Bartman, flannel was the clothing of choice, and Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown weren't completely insane.
