Wait -- what? Reportedly, the singer almost had to cancel the band's first major US tour because of his "tough" ex-girlfriend who managed to give him a black eye as well as burst his eardrum. There are many amazing things about this story, if it is even true, but here are the two most amazing:
01. She burst his eardrum by screaming
02. Ville Valo got beaten down by a chick.
Reportedly, when asked about the incident, Ville said, "Violence is always pretty bad but it doesn't get any worse than being beaten up by a girl, does it?" He also noted that he would have needed surgery if the hole in his ear, again, caused by her screaming, had been any bigger.
I would also bet a fair amount of money that this chick has wondered more than once why their relationship is over, and tries to get in touch with Ville every so often. Unfortunately for her, Hallmark has yet to make a "sorry I burst your eardrum with my piercing squeal" card, so I have to think she's not going to have that much luck in terms of reconciliation.
