Pay attention, because this is confusing. The singer kicked off a 10-night Los Angeles residency on Monday night, October 1st. However, due to a ruptured water main at the venue, last night's show [October 2nd] and tomorrow night's show [October 4th] have been canceled. Morrissey will be back, however, on October 5th, and anyone with tickets to the shows on the 2nd or 4th will be allowed to use them at either the 8th or 9th shows -- or get a refund.
How they plan to manage that is beyond me... but good luck to them.
The venue, The Hollywood Palladium, will be closed for renovations following Morrissey's run. Sounds like it could use them.
At least these cancelations have nothing to do with Morrissey's health. Morrissey will be on the road through November. Following the tour, he will be heading into the studio to record a new album.
