According to New Order and former Joy Division bassist Peter Hook, director Anton Corbijn is not being respectful to the band on the set of Closer, the Ian Curtis/Joy Division biopic.
Gigwise is reporting the director has been disrespectful to the band and is overstepping his boundaries by not giving them the freedom to record the soundtrack as they wish. It appears that the problem is mostly Peter Hook's, as his bandmates aren't verbalizing the same complaints. After 26 years as a band, could these difficulties with the film and the director possibly lead to the end of New Order?
