Troy Gentry publicly apologized to officer Robert McNaron for reacting in a "poor manner" to McNaron's reprimand. Some reports say Troy told him to "get the (expletive)" out of his face, while others say he was simply rude to the officer.
The apology definitely happened though, right at the beginning of Montgomery Gentry's CMA Music Festival performance.
"The officer was down there trying to do his duty and I reacted in a poor manner. For that, I am here to apologize to him and say I am sorry for the way I reacted," Gentry said.
Whether or not Gentry cussed at the dude remains a mystery, but the apology makes it pretty clear that Troy overreacted with the officer.
