Last week, Rollingstone.com published a list of the best "lost records"; albums that were created or attempted but never released. Topping the list was a collaboration between Tool front man Maynard James Keenan and Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails known as Tapeworm. The two worked together for six years, and although a few of their songs appeared on the Underworld soundtrack under the name Puscifer, an album was never finished.

Also appearing on the list was Green Day's infamous Cigarettes and Valentines, the precursor to American Idiot. When the master tapes for Cigarettes and Valentines were stolen circa 2003, Green Day was forced to start over from scratch, and the brand new album they created was American Idiot, which as we all know went on to be a huge success.

Weezer's unfinished Songs From The Black Hole also made the list, along with uncompleted works from Ryan Adams, Radiohead, Nirvana, and The Who.

Oh, and Chinese Democracy also made the list. I don't get that one. I mean, Axl said the album is coming out in March, and why wouldn't we believe him?
