Back in March, rapper Tony Yayo was arrested and accused of slapping a 14-year old boy in Manhattan. They boy Yayo allegedly hit was the son of Jimmy "Henchmen" Rosemond, manager of The Game and supposed rival of G-Unit.

Yesterday, Yayo's lawyer told a judge that his client has an eyewitness who was present at the time of the incident. Yayo's lawyer is claiming that this mystery witness will identify a man other than Yayo as the attacker. Now, to clarify, the identity of this witness has been revealed to the judge and prosecutors, just not to the general public.

Yayo is free on bail, and faces a trial in December.

Generally I don't expect much of anyone who goes by the name "Tony Yayo." However, this could be a landmark case for the "Rich Men Don't Go To Jail Theorem." We all know that rich men face significantly less repercussions than middle-class or poor men, but how rich must you be? Is Yayo rich enough to apply for exemption from the law? He's pretty well known, but he hasn't sold that many records. Forget this secret eyewitness; He should just present a bank account statement to the courts and take it from there.
