The guys in Motley Crüe did a lot of drugs, so I'm going to forgive Tommy Lee for the statement he just released.
If you haven't already heard, Bret Michaels has signed on to do a 2nd season of the hit show, "Rock of Love." Season 1 was a runaway hit, and VH1 decided to renew the show before Michaels even agreed to come back for another go-around. Naturally, people started rumors about who would star in "Rock of Love" season 2, and one of the names that came up was Tommy Lee.
This seemed to make sense, because Tommy Lee had recently appeared in the reality series "Rock Star: Supernova," as well as "Tommy Lee Goes To College."
And that's why Tommy Lee's recent response to the rumors is mind-boggling.
Lee said (via MTV):
I am not, nor would I ever, do a stupid show like the 'Rock of Love.'
I liked "Rock Star: Supernova," and I think Tommy Lee is hilarious, but let's discuss "Tommy Lee Goes To College." Don't get me wrong, it was an entertaining show, but I clearly remember an episode in which Tommy Lee builds an 8-man funnel as a science project, then tries to pass it off as a "hydration device" to his professor. The rest of the show was him practicing with the Nebraska marching band and trying to bang his hot tutor. Every other phrase out of his mouth was "that's crazy," and he once called his roommate's 3.5 GPA "shitty" because he thought GPA's were out of 10, not 4.
It's not exactly "Frasier."
I'm going to assume that quote was taken out of context. It HAD to have been.
