Damn, VH1 is breaking out on some hip hop and R&B. The station announced a new show, "Bridging the Gap," that will feature Eve, Queen Latifah, The Game and Snoop Dogg in a bit of which-era-is-better fluff.
The series will begin with two half-hour episodes on Monday, October 1 - featuring Eve, who parties like a rock star, and Queen Latifah, who I presume was once a partier. The two will record a track produced by Cool & Dre.
As they record, they'll discuss their lives in the hip hop industry. Maybe the Doritos' Collisions ad-team should snag a little 30-second slot during this show - I'm sure Missy would look good alongside this crowd. Also of note, this little shindig was put together by Eve's multimedia firm, The Coalition.
While we're talking about the paw-tracks-tatted rapper, she'll be releasing her fourth album, Here I Am, on October 16. It features contributions from Swizz Beatz, Pharrell, Sean Paul, T.I., Robin Thicke and Timbaland.
