It's as if there is a not-so-secret society dedicated to hating Lily Allen these days. Apparently, the boys have a problem with Lily heckling them at the BRIT Awards, which were two months ago. Guess news sometimes travels slowly.
Apparently, the problems started when the pop princess shouted at them for beating her in the "Best Breakthrough Act" category.
Gigwise reports Barry Fratelli said, “I’ve never properly met her but when we were going up to collect our Brit she shouted, ‘You’re a robbing c***’ to Jon, saying we had robbed the award from her. I’ve no time for the girl. She’s a snobby f***ing brat. It’s Keith Allen’s daughter so what can you expect?”
Naturally, the band also has an issue with Lily's decision to call off her US tour due to boredom -- saying they'd never do that to fans. Nevermind that they had to call theirs off due to exhaustion, just look the other way.
This is one Britpop battle I'd expect to heat up a bit as Lily isn't one to just let comments like this go unanswered. And she's the sort who looks cute when she's mad, so I'm calling her to "win" this war.
