The Eagles are back, and good as ever! Which, of course, is not very good.
The band has posted a brand new song called "How Long" on its MySpace page. Yes, even the Eagles have a MySpace page. The song has also been released to radio as of yesterday (8/16), and will be available for purchase on Monday at Walmart, Sam's Club and EaglesBand.com.
The Eagles will be releasing a new album titled The Long Road Out of Eden on October 30th.
Also, the band is doing six shows at the Nokia Theater in L.A. in October, along with the Dixie Chicks. Looks like they might be trying to pull a Bon Jovi and get that country fanbase on their side.

As for The Long Road Out of Eden, Joe Walsh tells Billboard that the band "didn't want [the album] to be too ballad-y. We need some stuff we can play live, so I made sure there was that element in the record."
No word on whether Walsh still does 185 in a Rascal Motor Scooter. Seriously guys, hang it up.
