Well Taylor Swift has done well enough with her self-titled debut to inspire her record label to release a limited, deluxe edition of the album, the only thing is it's kind of weird. In addition to three new songs and a DVD, the release includes a recording of her first phone call with Tim McGraw and a behind-the-scenes home movie of her past year.

First off, I love that they're promoting this release with a phone call between Taylor and Tim. That's supposed to inspire a re-buy of the same album? On top of that, a home movie of the past year in Taylor's life seems a little ridiculous in the wake of over-exposure stories like Britney Spears. I mean, miss Swift is only 17-years-old after all.

Besides that, you might as well build up some more steam in the career and do a proper DVD release. Who knows, maybe this is one of those really budget kind of things. Like, when they say home movie they mean grainy, out of focus, headache-inducing home movie. Guess we'll find out when they release this thing.

The release includes all of Taylor's videos and a performance of "Picture to Burn" from Studio 330. It's due out on November 6 and yes, that is the cover Amazon has up for the release.
