The Black Crowes announced on the band's official website that, with the help of a new member, the band has completed recording the material that will make up its upcoming 2008 album. Keyboardist Adam MacDougal joined the band for the recording sessions and will be touring with the Crowes from this point forward.

The band will begin mixing the sixteen new tracks, which were recorded at Allaire Studios in Shokan, NY in September. Luther Dickinson of the North Mississippi Allstars will also appear on the record.

The Black Crowes have sold over 15 million albums in 17 years of recording.
