All right, it's official, Taylor Swift owns country music in 2007. She is now the only artist to have spent five weeks in the No. 1 position on Billboard's Country Albums chart this year, according to a press release.
Carrie, a word of advice. If he's going to cheat, I know who he's going to cheat on you with ... y'know, after Taylor has turned 18 of course.
Taylor's self-titled album made it to the No. 1 spot after it had already been out for 39 weeks. Other milestones Taylor has accomplished this year: 20 million plays on MySpace, touring with Tim and Faith, having written or co-written every track on a debut platinum album and winning her first CMT Award.
It's been a good year for her and one that I'm sure she'll celebrate heartily on her 18th, which hits this December.
