Rumors of a Spice Girls reunion have been going on for awhile now, and the group has finally made an announcement addressing those rumors.
That announcement? Well, they've announced that, this Thursday (6/28), the group will reveal its future plans.
In a statement, the Spice Girls said (via MSN):
Following weeks of speculation, the Spice Girls are set to make an official announcement to the world regarding future plans on Thursday, June 28.
Details regarding the announcement will be released in the coming days.
One would have to assume a reunion tour is coming, even if it includes just a handful of dates. We'll find out for sure on Thursday. Remember that episode of "The Tom Green Show" with Monica Lewinsky, where Tom set up a dinner with his parents to tell them some big announcement, then it turned out his big news was that there was a different announcement tomorrow? That's what this Spice Girls announcement is like. Hopefully we don't have to hear about a new line of Scary Spice handbags on Thursday.
