Or should I say that he pleaded giznuilty.
Snoop D-o-double-g failed to show up to court on September 18th, but he showed up yesterday and pleaded guilty to a dangerous weapons charge from 2006.
On that fateful day in September of '06, Snoop showed up to the John Wayne Airport in Orange County with a collapsible baton in a computer bag. Smart thinking -- they don't check computer bags at airports these days...<eye roll>.
Anyhow, Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr. was sentenced to 160 hours of community service, three years probation, and a $10,000 charitable donation. It's alright, he's got the scratch.
Snoop's attorney, Donald Etra said, "We are very pleased with the outcome. Snoop's goal is to make music, not make court appearances."
Turns out he's pretty great at both.
