Simon Cowell has been named the 3rd richest TV star on a new list from Forbes, trailing only Oprah and Jerry Seinfeld. So next time someone insults Simon Cowell for being a jerk or taking really gay poolside photos, he can cry all the way to the bank. Then he can tell the bank teller what a horrible job he's doing at depositing his money.

3. Simon Cowell - $45 million
4. David Letterman - $40 million
5. Donald Trump - $32 million
6. Jay Leno - $32 million
7. Dr. Phil MCGraw - $30 million
8. "Judge" Judy Sheindlin - $30 million
9. George Lopez - $26 million
10. Kiefer Sutherland - $22 million
As you can see, Oprah easily dominates the list. But perhaps most impressive is Jerry Seinfeld, who raked in $60 million over the last year despite the fact that "Seinfeld" ended in 1998. Talk show hosts fill up most of the spots, with George Lopez somehow sneaking in there. Keifer Sutherland rounds out the top ten with $22 million. He saved the world from 4 different nuclear disasters in a 24-hour time period without ever taking a piss, so he definitely deserves it.
