It's the summer of comebacks. Rage, The Police, Genesis... the list goes on and on. Now, Silverchair has announced a comeback of sorts, as the band will be touring North America for the first time since 1999. Silverchair will be promoting its new album, Young Modern. Singer Daniel Johns released the following statement describing the album.

It's about embracing who we are as band and just really enjoying ourselves because that's all that really matters. Hopefully, listening to this album will make other people feel what we feel when we play these songs together because I've finally figured out that that's a very special feeling.

You can listen to Young Modern in its entirety at Silverchair's website.
