Serj Tankian's solo debut, Elect the Dead, will be out next Tuesday. In a generous move, Serj will be releasing the bonus edition of the album at the same time as the regular version, so fans won't have to re-purchase the album in 6 months. We appreciate that, Serj, we really do.
Here are details on the limited edition of Elect the Dead (via Blabbermouth):
-It comes in a linen-bound hardbound book.
-It contains a 48-page booklet with poetry and artwork.
-It includes a CD with four bonus tracks. They are:
1) Blue
2) Empty Walls (acoustic)
3) Feed Us (acoustic)
4) Falling Stars
-Each one contains a unique code to unlock special material.
-Serj is currently on tour, and his backing band is called the Flying C***s of Chaos. That has nothing to do with the bonus CD, but it's pretty ridiculous.
-I've gotten a chance to preview Elect the Dead, and although I've only gotten halfway through the disc, I think System/Serj fans are going to be happy with the result.
