In what should come as a shock to nobody, fans were a bit off-put by the announcement that the band is releasing a "deluxe edition" of their last album, Still Searching on November 13th. However, the band has clarified something: the bonus tracks and new songs will be available for individual purchase on download sites. Thinking of the fans? These guys get a gold star.

The band released the following details on the limited edition:

Deluxe Edition of Still Searching coming November 13! It features new packaging, 6 bonus tracks, and a DVD with over one hour of revealing behind-the-scenes footage from the our 2006 fall tour. The additional tracks include two brand new songs (recorded in late August with producer Brian McTernan), three b-sides, and a cover of The Cranberries' "Salvation." The tracks will be available as a separate purchase through all digital sales outlets, as well.
Deluxe Edition bonus track listing:
1. Battle Hymn (New Song)
2. Champagne (New Song)
3. Stretch Your Legs to Coffin Length
4. Mason's Revenge
5. Cinco De Mayo
i6. Salvation
You're not going to get the DVD unless you buy the CD again [presuming you already own it], but if you're only after the music? The band has done right by you. It's nice to see someone "get it."
