No!!!
Robert Goulet (Gouleeet!!) is in critical condition in a Los Angeles hospital. The 73-year old has been ill for a few weeks now, and on October 13th was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A.
Goulet is awaiting a lung transplant, and according to sources, he's not doing well.
Said Goulet's wife Vera, "He can hear me but he can't respond."
It's looking bleak right now. However, in classic Goulet fashion, the singer's last words before being sedated were as follows:
Just give me a new pair of lungs and I'll hit the high notes until I'm 100.
Amazing. Lung transplants have a success rate of 88%, but so far they can't find a suitable donor for Goulet. This is not good. Isn't there a talentless person out there who can give up their lungs? This is disheartening news, but for now we'll have to hold out hope that the operation will occur and Goulet will make a full recovery.
Get better, Big Poppa. This one's for you...
