Alone - The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo are just that -- bootlegs from Cuomo's private noodling sessions. The demos date back to 1992 and the collection will hit stores on December 11th.
The nerdy guitarist is still planning on releasing his memoirs, but that project seems to be on hold for the time being. Weezer's got a new album to make, fools! (To be released sometime in 2008.)
Also, his MySpace page is under the name "The Real Slim Cuomo." So, there's that.
