Apparently, a drunken Lily Allen climbed on stage at a festival, grabbed the microphone out of reggae singer Bobby Kray's hand, then shoved him off the stage into a bush. But he's doing just fine today.
Bobby Kray, by the way, is a 36 year old man. Now, I don't want to mock his manhood too much, since being sent to the hospital by a tiny thing like Lily Allen was shameful enough, but, let's face it -- the dude got beaten up by a girl. A small girl, at that.
The singer went back on the stage, dumped Lily's drink on her head, finished up, then went off to the hospital to have an ankle and a neck injury looked at. He said, "I had to pop to hospital for my neck and ankle. She just had too much carnival spirit."
I bet he'll also have a decent amount of cash, in the form of a payoff, considering the whole thing was caught on tape.
It should be noted that this spectacular moment in Lily Allen's life happened just hours before the particularly high point of it, when she passed out on the side of the road and was pulled to safety by restaurant staff.
I'm starting to wonder if there is a secret, "let's see who can be the most screwed up" contest going on in England, and all the rock and pop stars were invited to attend. Unfortunately, nobody is ever going to beat Amy Winehouse, Pete Doherty, or Robbie Williams -- who are sort of like a three-headed monster from the planet screwed up -- so perhaps Lily should stop trying and just go back to singing cute pop songs.
It really might be in her best interest.
