The other night, R. Kelly spoke to a crowd at the IFC Theater in New York. Kels was unveiling his "Trapped in the Closet: Chapters 13-22" saga at a special screening.
In the clip below, he says that an alien took over his body and created the "Trapped in the Closet" series. Or something like that. Just watch.
OK, so clearly he's joking, but is it that far-fetched that an alien inhabited R. Kelly's body? If you told me a couple weeks ago that R. Kelly was actually an alien, I'd have believed it. How else do you explain the song "Sex Planet?" Check out these lyrics...

From a singer, that's kind of creepy. But from an alien? It's adorable. What I'd like to know is, did this alien contribute to "Double Up?" If so, we need to get the alien a professional songwriting job ASAP.
