As if you didn't already have plenty of reasons to dislike Poison, the band has decided to do an album of covers, Poison'd. In the process they'll be tackling classics like David Bowie's "Suffragette City" and The Rolling Stones' "Dead Flowers."
Hey, Poison ... stop. Just stop.
The album is due June 4/5 and is their first since 2002's dismally titled Hollyweird.
In another ultra-lame detail, some of the tracks will come from previous releases. It's easy enough to record an album of covers, but then to not actually record an entire album of covers? Shit doesn't get more washed up than that folks.
Also, lead singer Bret Michaels is set to star in VH1's new reality show, "Rock of Love with Bret Michaels." I stand corrected. It does get more washed up.
p.s. - Best/worst album cover ever?
