Phil Vassar and his wife, Julie Wood Vassar, have filed divorce papers in Davidson County, Tennessee Circuit Court.
The couple filed the papers in March after having been married since 2002. They have a three-year-old daughter together and Phil has another child from a previous marriage.
In other recent Phil V news, he'll be playing at "A Concert for Virginia Tech" on September 6 alongside Dave Matthews, John Mayer and Nas.
All of the performers waived their fees for the show and corporate sponsors will cover the costs of the concert. Faculty, students and families will be able to attend the show for free and tickets are not available to the general public.
