The legendary music producer's fate is in the hands of nine men and three women now.... Meanwhile, both Spector and his wife, Rachelle, were hit with a gag order, and told not to speak to the press until the jury had finished deliberating.
Judge Fidler was his usual salty self as he slapped a gag order on Rachelle Spector, who is believed to have e-mailed members of the press over the weekend, saying:
Ma'am, I'm going to do something I've never done before. You are here in the courtroom. You will not talk to the press...until a verdict or other decision is arrived at in this case. If you do, you're in violation of my order and you know what I do to people who violate my orders.
He also reprimanded her for arguing with her over said gag order.
Over the weekend, some British papers reported that Spector said he believed he was "guilty or insane," which is what led to this order.
The jurors were reminded what "reasonable doubt" means and sent on their way to decide Phil Spector's fate, and with that, we now sit and wait to see if Phil Spector will be found guilty of second-degree murder.
