Pete will be playing a small role on a TBS "microseries," called "Lovebites," which is set to air during re-run episodes of "Sex and the City." The show is set to run as a series of two-minute episodes, airing during commercial breaks on Monday and Tuesday nights at 11:15. I may love Pete Wentz, but there is a limit to my love, and watching even one second of "Sex and the City" is it. No, no, no. I'm sorry, but really, now. No.
Pete will be playing himself, a love interest of the fictional character "Callie," who is the star of the "show," and looking for love in a cheesy girl way. Actually, it sounds like he will be playing himself on the cut-rate, two-minute "Sex and the City."
Pete, who said acting is just a "hobby" for him, also said, "I'm definitely not interested in playing like any kind of teen heartthrob." I suppose that's fair enough since he plays one in real life. Perhaps he should grow a twisty moustache and play a really evil villain. When they get around to making a live-action "Strawberry Shortcake" movie, he can play the Peculiar Purple Pie Man of Porcupine Peak.
And since Pete said he'd only consider bigger roles if the role was "right" [and Fall Out Boy was on a break] I'd hope that people who take my brilliant ideas seriously will consider this film and casting decision and base it around a FOB tour break.
I mean, look -- it's perfect:
