For drug possession. Again.
In London, which he was banned from.
And now, he'll probably go to jail. You know, I'm just really disappointed.

Reportedly, his car was pulled over around 2am, and he was then taken in. By all reports, he is still being held in custody in East London.

Pete's last court date left him with a postponed sentencing date, as the judge wanted to give him another month to get in line, clean up, and finish rehabilitation. Part of the deal was he would also have to stay out of London, though the judge was lenient in allowing him to travel to/from shows that would involve passing through, such as last weekend's V Festival. Unfortunately for Pete, his September 4th hearing/sentencing is to be based on his behavior over the month of August, and it is expected he will be sentenced to serve jail time at this point, considering the latest arrest.

And I honestly feel bad for him. The man clearly can't -- and won't -- stop doing drugs, but he's also not hurting anyone but himself, so in a sense, he should really be left alone. That said, if anyone is really serious about getting off drugs, maybe the first thing they should do is spend more than two days in a rehab program.

Further, they keep giving Pete this anti-drug implant. It doesn't work. Every single time they put that thing in him, he ends up arrested and worse off than he was before they put it in. I'm not a professional drug counselor, but I'd say after the fourth time it has failed, it's time to try something different.

Unfortunately for Pete, Babyshambles, and everyone touched by this, I'm afraid this time, something different will be jail. Which also won't help a damned thing, but at the same time, I'd imagine the courts and judges are rather frustrated with the whole situation.

Good luck, Pete.
