Just when you thought you were the only person actually excited about the re-emergence of Portishead, two major news outlets go and release a story about the chilled out mofos.

Portishead is curating the upcoming All Tomorrow's Parties' Nightmare Before Christmas and the first acts announced include Aphex Twin, Julian Cope, Black Mountain, Sparklehorse, Oneida, Earth, Team Brick, Fuzz Against Junk, Seasick Steve and Crippled Black Phoenix.

Crippled Black Phoenix is a Mogwai/Portishead side project.

The party throws down December 7-9 at Butlins Holiday Resort in Minehead (Somerset, England).
