CNN reports that Hilton was sent back to jail after a hearing that occured earlier today. Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer was displeased by the news of Hilton's release, saying that he never authorized it.
"I at no time condoned the actions of the sheriff and at no time told him I approved the actions," said Sauer.
Hilton was in tears upon hearing today's verdict. She shouted "It's not right!!!" and then yelled for her mom before being taken away in a police car.
The Assistant District Attorney said, "Her release after only three days erodes confidence in the judicial system."
Seriously. How does someone get accidentally released from prison? Thank God she wasn't a rapist or murderer.
