Now that Ryan Ross is 21, he's allowed to have his birthday party at the bar owned by Pete Wentz. Lots of famous people came to the party, including Travis McCoy, Gabe Saporta, and Ryland Blackington. And there was cake!
Of course, the press got into the party and even when a boy is trying to become a man, taking his first legal sips of alcohol at a celebrity-packed dive bar, the questions about the new Panic! At the Disco album were flying.
Ryan said the band is trying to finish the album in the next month, or month and a half, although they're still looking at a February or March 2008 release date. That ought to give it plenty of time to leak, no?
As for any other news the guitarist was harassed about, he noted the band didn't invest in Angels and Kings when it opened because they were all too young to do so. He speculated that once the rest of the band catches up with him [Brendan and Spencer are still under], they may consider partnering with Pete and they other Fueled By Ramen/Decaydance investors.
And then he had a party, because it was his birthday, and that's what people do on their birthdays. Sheesh.
