Okay, maybe not. But that's what the latest release from Hot Topic and Hopeless/Sub City Records feels like. The CD/DVD release is actually called Change! and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Hot Topic Foundation.

The CD tracklisting is:

01. Chiodos - "Teeth The Size Of Piano Keys"
02. Silverstein - "If You Could See Into My Soul"
03. Saosin - "Collapse" 04. Alesana - "Ambrosia"

05. Every Time I Die - "We're Wolf"
06. The Chariot - "They Faced Each Other"
07. The Human Abstract - "Nocturne"
08. As I Lay Dying - "Nothing Left"

09. The Devil Wears Prada - "Don't Dink And Drance"
10. Parkway Drive - "Boneyards"
11. August Burns Red - "Composure"
12. Job For A Cowboy - "Embedded"
13. See You Next Tuesday- "Here, Take This Pill"
14. Converge - "No Heroes"
15. Poison The Well -"Letter Thing"
16. Memphis May Fire - "Cowbell's Making A Comeback"
17. HORSE The Band - "Murder"
18. Gallows - "Orchestra of Wolves"
19. Aiden - "We Sleep Forever"
20. Pierce The Veil - "I'd Rather Die Than Be Famous"
21 The Fall of Troy - "Cut Down All The Trees And Name The Streets After Them"

There is also a DVD with videos for 17 of the songs on the album.

But to be honest? I don't get the album at all. It's just a semi-random collection of recent songs, with a really old Aiden song thrown in for good measure. What, they couldn't kick in a song from Conviction? I'd think it was maybe a label issue, but there's a new Silverstein song on there.

Anyway, seeing as these are all songs that have been released, and aren't live or demos or anything special, I'm not sure there is even a market for this. I know I have the full CDs that contain all the songs I like on this compilation.

Either way, it will be in stores on November 20th for $9.99. Maybe it's a good gift for musically-challenged people in your life... maybe someone who is listening to, say, Plain White T's? I suppose, in that case, it doesn't look as cheap as a mix CD and seems more authoritative.
