Nickelback has been on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart for 94 straight weeks, with much of that time spent toward the top of the list. This week, Nickelback jumps back into the top ten for the first time in a long time (at #9 - 43,000 copies sold). The band was helped by a recent re-release of its album All The Right Reasons.

All The Right Reasons was released almost two years ago, in October of 2005. The album has had six straight #1 singles, from "Photograph" in '05 to the recent hit "If Everyone Cared." The entire album is 11 songs, meaning it actually has more #1 singles than non-singles.

Anyway, this is the part of the story where critics usually say stuff like, "People are stupid" or "I can't believe Nickelback sells so many records when [random unknown band] is still playing clubs." But I'm not gonna do that. Reaching the top ten after 94 straight weeks on the charts is impressive for any band, no matter what the detractors say.
