You like that new, snappy title? I got sick of typing the same title every single day. The beauty of being a moody little bipolar-type thing never ceases to amaze me... at least when I use my powers for good, such as shaking up the title on whim. You better hope I don't just change it to "argle, bargle!!!" some day....

And with that, news.

It didn't take that long for Dance Gavin Dance to find a new singer. The band has made an official announcement that Kurt Travis has joined the band. He's formerly of about 1,000 other bands, which is a pretty solid resume. The band says he's going to fit in perfectly with their musical vision and they get along really well. We'll see how it goes. In other news, the band has recorded some demos for their new album and will be recording in April. Looking forward to it. Their full announcement is hanging out over here.

Showing how incredibly lame they are, Rolling Stone has put out their Top 50 Albums of 2007 list. Ouch. Really? This is the best of 2007? Well, I have a list of 30, and only one album on their list made mine. [#46, Fall Out Boy's Infinity on High.] I swear, they just pull hip indie band names out of a hat and say "best of 2007!" without actually listening to anything on the list.

Panic! At The Disco's games continue -- you can hear about half a line of one of their new songs on their Web site by clicking the first puzzle piece. I suspect they'll add something pretty much every day between January 1st, which is the date they added to the puzzle page. I can't tell if I like this, or think it's frustrating.

Finally, My Chemical Romance's AOL Sessions are finally on iTunes -- at least in part. Head over here to grab "Welcome to the Black Parade," "Famous Last Words," "I Don't Love You," and "Cancer." Supposedly, more will be added soon. I'd kind of just like to get the whole deal in one shot, but hey, four is better than nothing, right?

On that note, I'm off, so rock on, darlings.
