Daniel Lanois, who is producing the next U2 album along with Brian Eno, says that the album is coming together pretty easily.

Lanois tells Rolling Stone that he and Eno have "been invited as writers this time. I did three writing sessions with Eno and U2 - one in Fez, Morocco; two in France. It's going great. We're regrouping in November."

No release date has been set, but Lanois added:

The record's kind of making itself.

Oh, thank God. I thought Bono was going to be making it.

(Just kidding, I like U2.)
